"Anything Goes" Futurama Robin Discussion Thread

Post by gkscotty » Wed Jan 07, 2004 1:30 am

Well, Fiona's MST kinda made me nostalgic for the old days, when Robins were free of rules and regulations. So here's a Futurama one. There's no rota so post away, but please be considerate.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone’s fault. If it was Us, what did that make Me? After all, I’m one of Us. I must be. I’ve certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We’re always one of Us. It’s Them that do bad things. - Jingo, Terry Pratchett

Oooh, nice! I'm all out of inspiration for the time being, but I *will* be in this.

No rules, no regulations. However, allow me to swear that here and hencetoforth, I will *not* include any paper-shredders in this story whatsoever. If I do, may the Law Golems hound me to the ends of the Earth.

I agree. No paper shredders. Happy Pills are okay, though, right? Everyone loves Happy Pills...

Well, someone get the ball rolling then. It's been up for a fortnight.

I'd start but I fear anything I try will attempt to involve some sort of time-travel, and I really don't want that.

Sometimes I feel like dressing up my Gaia avatar.
Feels kinda pointless since I don't actually do stuff at Gaia, so I'm putting it here.

I haven't seen Futurama in a while, so I'm not sure I'll get the characterization right. Maybe if I read some of the fanfics here...
