Note: British Summer Time is ending, and creativity will be an hour earlier if you're outside the UK!

... I'm pretty sure. Time changes are always confusing.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone’s fault. If it was Us, what did that make Me? After all, I’m one of Us. I must be. I’ve certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We’re always one of Us. It’s Them that do bad things. - Jingo, Terry Pratchett

Wanted to draw Ríastrad, the commander of my space marines chapter, in ludicrously impractical parade armour and a "you have got to be fucking kidding me" expression on her face. Or maybe she's just happy it's not boob armour.

Ironically, the lion-mask breastplate, which I thought would be most complicated, was pretty easy to do, but turns out the scanner didn't like it at all. Oh well, what's done is done.

This is the end;
I'm a good fighter
But a bad friend;
I've played the traitor
Over and over;
I'm a good hater
But a bad lover.

"No normal woman takes pleasure in the extermination of vermin. What good fortune, then, that you got me."

Presenting my Destroying Angels marine, Viva Devastatio. Unflinching walk, face-covering hood, slasher smile... some call this the true holy trinity.

EDIT: Reuploaded with some improvements (don't think I'll ever get that hand perfect, though) and added a cracked skull and winged chalice for increased badassery.

Couldn't attend yesterday, so I did something today instead. A character from one of my short stories (not anything you've read, it's still on the draft stage). Don't want to spoil too much, but they're not actually human, so some slightly odd proportions are intentional.

Their appearance was inspired by a figure in a painting by Zdzisław Beksiński. It's been ages since I saw it, but I believe it was this one.

Con-crit welcome as usual.

A Venture Brothers picture, following the ending of Season 7. Based on my fic The Silence of the Sirens, but you don't need to be familiar with the fic. Sirena (Wide Wale's daughter and Hank's girlfriend) regrets.

(Not all done tonight) I started embroidering the chapter insignia of the Destroying Angels on a window-washing rag. This might convert a few neighbours!

I won't be home to attend creativity today. Look forwards to seeing your creations!

Okay, that's just brilliant. I have nothing to say other than that I love it.

You know I like this. Allison's expression is very good, and the shadow is terrifying. Great use of monochrome, and the glint of light on the knife is a nice touch.

Decided to make some sprites of alchemical illustrations. Not an alchemy buff, just going by descriptions in Huysmans' occult novel The Damned.

in other flasks there were doves, sometimes rising towards the stopper, sometimes pecking with their heads towards the bottom, in a fluid that was black or wavy in crimson and gold, sometimes white and granulated with dots of ink, inhabited by a frog or a star, sometimes also milky and confused or burning with punch flames on the surface.

Said it before, but the glowing eye effect is really impressive. The whole drawing is good (and scary). Love that she's still wearing her pouch as well.

I write words about ponies. Yay, ponies!

Oh... wait. This is actually pretty dark. Uh... enjoy?

Sometimes I feel like dressing up my Gaia avatar.
Feels kinda pointless since I don't actually do stuff at Gaia, so I'm putting it here.
