Nobody on this forum worries about double posts.
The noose draws tighter;
This is the end;
I'm a good fighter
But a bad friend;
I've played the traitor
Over and over;
I'm a good hater
But a bad lover.

Granted it's a wiki so I don't know if entirely trustworthy. Like that some of them seem a bit more simple than the plotlines we've been getting in some of the episodes just passed.

and Lisa, Bart and Milhouse (Pamela Hayden) get super-powers from radiation.

If this turned out to be an actual sequel, I'd be comfortable with that.

The Patty and Selma plot could be fun - the world's gotten a lot less smoker-friendly since the 90s so they'd likely be under great pressure to quit in any sem-realistic world.

@Stretch - maybe it'll be an X-Men parody versus a general superhero parody? I'd love a return of Clobber Girl and co tho!

Not sure if this counts but it *is* season 27 information.

If this is accurate, looks like we've still got Shearer.

Whew, I'm sure everyone on the show is very relieved about this!

I'd say so. I heard they were having a lot of trouble finding other potential VAs.

They must've come up with the free time he wanted/needed. Good news indeed!

What.

This has got to be a troll. They can't be that desperate for storylines. This sounds like a fanfic idea that would have got posted on NoHomers Club back in 2003 and promptly been shouted down by everyone else.

Also, a title that's "Teenage Mutant [something] Hurdles"? I'm not saying they're ripping off Futurama, I'm just saying they're unoriginal.

Calling it now: this is going to be this decade's "Homer vs. Dignity".

Yeaaaaaah this one's a little weird.

Like maybe if it was something like "Bart hits puberty early, starts noticing certain girls *nudge* but also happens to grow fond of someone that Nelson wants too" I mean at his size, Nelson's probably already twelve or something. Probably be a way to actually put the latter back into an antagonistic position too or at least a rivalry like Saturdays of Thunder. After all, they're different enough that a rivalry can still be interesting between them (never liked the "rival that's exactly the same as hero except edgy" thing)

May already said some of the things I was going to say, but screw it, here's a rant. For those of you who don't like rants, I direct you to this video of a fluffy kitten.

So I realised what's been bothering me about this plotline. This sounds like the typical sit-com "young male character hits puberty, starts discovering sex and having odd feelings" episode, which, as May pointed out, could make a really entertaining story. Except the characters aren't allowed to age. So in order for Bart to have a puberty episode, it needs to be a freak medical condition caused by hormones in food.

Now how fucked up is this? A normal human development stage (which some kids hit when they're not much older than Bart, might I add) as a mutation that will be cured at the end of the episode and never mentioned again. Stasis as the natural condition.

Maggie, never learn to talk. They might cure you too.

Considering the synopsis mentions the teacher gets the hots for Skinner, this might mean that the actual focus of the episode will be a sort of Bart vs. Skinner conflict. But now, is it really necessary to go into such a creepy territory to create conflict between two characters that already have a lot of territory to explore? I do realise that "hormones causing early puberty" is not really out-of-bounds for the show at this stage, but, eww. Just do a "Simpsons All Grown Up" spin-off already. That's not below you anymore.
