Final part of my story! It's astounding; I actually finished writing an entire story.

I know very well how it feels to finally finish something.

This is very good. Nice closure for all the characters, with sweet dialogue at the end, and the bit with Spike touched my heart.

Congrats!

Really happy to see this successfully concluded. It’s been a fun metatextual ride. Congratulations.

Still can't believe you drew that in 45 minutes, it's bloody amazing. Love her expression and outfit.

Schweet!

That is very well done. Pose, proportions and expression spot on.

Here's the continuation of the fragment I started a few weeks ago: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lqA ... sp=sharing

I believe this is a finished chapter. And yeah, I need to do a lot of editing in the story, since this is a retelling of the events that begin the story. But that's for later.

EDIT: You know I like this story, Fernie. As usual, it's as its most interesting when it describes music.

First miniature painted, pls R and R.

Context: this little fella came with the Deathwing Terminator squad, where the manual refers to it as a "Perfidious Relic of the Unforgiven". W the F is it? Child soldier? A squat (essentially dwarves but in space)? Genetic engineering experiment gone wrong? Either way, I don't really have a use for it in my 40k army, so I'm using him as a painting test case.

Pictures are after priming and current. Still a work in progress; I'm going to highlight a lot more, and I haven't even started on the sword.

The Emprah protects etc. etc.

A very sweet end to the Meteorite story. The feeling I get from it is that everyone's going to stop overanalysing and just see what happens and communicate better. Writingwise, there are a few redundancies, and I think Rarity's reaction to the flowers could be redone a bit to better show the conflict between her graciousness/enthusiasm for attention to detail. Other than that, I'm very glad that this is how this story ended.

I had planned something bold for today: try to come up with a piece of music in one hour, without pre-written material, just by improvising on the keyboard to see what would come out. This is the result. The recording is bad and the playing has lots of mistakes, but I really like the piece, and I plan to work on it further.

@May: I love this, very cute and on-model. I'm on board with the idea of older Maggie still tripping up every so often. The sign is a great touch.

@Fernie: Listened to your song a couple of times now. I'm no music critic, but that is a very solid piece, and I'm extremely impressed that you composed it (from scratch!) in just an hour. To me, it sounds like two distinct tracks, but that's obviously up to you. Very atmospheric and pretty, and the sound quality didn't bother me much (it can obviously be fixed).

I agree with Chris regarding May's pic. It's an excellent character trait for her, and the drawing itself is just lovely.

And thank you for your comment, Chris! And about it sounding like two different pieces, I was thinking exactly about that this morning. If I get to orchestrate this song, I'll try to make them work together as a single thing. This is the kind of composition "puzzle" that I enjoy doing. :) But I'm really glad the song turned out to be enjoyable!

More "Earth Guys Are Sleazy".

First instalment
Second instalment
Third instalment
Fourth instalment

Last time: Cyrus saved Fry from getting killed due to his own stupidity. After Cyrus got knocked out, Fry coated him in oil and used him as a sled to get back down the hill (in his defence, he thought Cyrus was dead at the time). They stopped by a river to drink and wash themselves, only to run into Cyrus' rival, Aurelian.
