People seemed interested in the Cedar sign. So let me show another project I worked on.

This one was NOT fun...

For scale, the numbers are 11 inches tall, the lettering is 7 inch, milled out of 3/8 aluminum. And mounted maybe 30 feet up in the air. There were three locations per building and four buildings. The only good thing about this install was I didn't drive the lift. Maneuvering that beast around the job site was a total nightmare. We had to share lifts with another crew, meaning if they needed the big lift we got stuck with the smaller one, and after spending how much time and effort to finally arrive at the location the lift was too short to reach. We had to go get the other and try again. Also we couldn't go there because of fresh concrete, we couldn't go here because the heavy lift would wreck landscaping, or that away because of... well you get the idea.

Me, getting my land legs back. I spent the last three days straight in the basket of either a 45-ft or a 60-ft boom lift. That thing in my left hand is a "Yoyo", part of the fall arrest system as well as the five point harness.

Needless to say, I don't have any experience with that sort of work, but it must have felt so satisfying once you succeeded. And the photos are really nice.

For the sake of completion, and because I forgot to put them up here, here are links to the currently published parts of Treasure Hunt, with the accompanying artwork:

Seeing your name in lights like that must feel brilliant. :)

You know I like these a lot already, but particularly the third picture. The landscape is incredibly ambient.

Also thanks for linking to the chapters; I'm not very good at Portuguese, but this way I might get better.

Just letting you guys know that I won't be available for creativity today, as another appointment has showed up. Look forwards to seeing what you folks come up with!

oh the pun.

I've never actually seen Wall Street, but I'll be bitterly disappointed if it doesn't feature an actual lizardman.

Screw their "realism" we need more lizard blokes.

I've just been keeping up with this best I can

More good additions. Blinky is really well done, and the "DOH" in the Goomer-stomp animation is a great idea.

Yeah, I make Chris's words my own. Very neat stuff.

Your impression of Gordon Gecko is really good, Chris! His head is particularly convincing. I did watch Wall Street once, and I can say that does quite adequately represents what the character is intended to be.

What if Harley Quinn had been in The Dark Knight? A good question that we'll never get an answer to.

Thinking about it, was a little odd she never showed up at all... though I suppose with no Heath it might've been hard to get her in even if as a solo villain... still, nice stuff!

Glad you liked it! In hindsight, she doesn't really have much to make her recognisable as Harley (aside from the Joker makeup and lump hammer), but I'm glad she looks okay.

I guess she couldn't have been in The Dark Knight (if they were going with her usual "former Arkham psychiatrist" origin story) because the Joker hadn't been committed to Arkham yet (though I can actually think of a headcanon that would explain her already working for him), and like you said, it would have been weird to have her in The Dark Knight Rises as a solo villain.

In the Nolanverse, I picture her as being the Joker's concierge/second-in-command, so technically she could have just been manning his home base while he was out doing all the funny blowy uppy stuff, and that's why we never saw her.

Not gonna be in tonight, I'm afraid. Just go on without me.

I'll probably get something done during the coming week.
