Starting off the holiday season with a doodle of that perennial classic, "Dolph the Rude-Nosed Reindeer!" (If only Dolph's upper lip didn't make him look like a camel.)

I want some of what you had. :D Seriously good for an hour, you've got Dolph down perfectly. Would watch this IRL.

A sketch of Cyrus, Fry's barbarian brofriend from my fic Earth Guys Are Sleazy. Feel free to concrit anything that needs improving!

Making improvements! Only things I'd say is that the right arm seems abit long and usually feet don't get quite so horizontal.

... I'm being dumb and self indulgent because the past few days have been craaaaaaap

We got quite a lovely batch of drawings this time! Dolph is funny and brilliant in a way I don't see often around here. Cyrus looks excellent, and even if there might be anatomy nitpicks, I think some compromises are justified by the mood and the energy he's delivering (and his face looks really good). The doodles are just beautiful, with lovely, expressive poses. I also hadn't seen the one with Bart and Terri on chat yesterday, and it's a wonderful addition to the batch! (also, a tip to May: if you don't say your art is self-indulgent, no one will notice, and it'll just be art. I mean, just listening to my songs, I don't think you could guess when I'm being self-indulgent; and you bet your life that I'll never say it)

Thank you, both!

I really like your sketches, May. The poses and especially the expressions are lovely and memorable.

Also, listen to Fernie. Is it even possible to create art without being self-indulgent? :D

Maybe they wouldn't notice but I always feel so dishonest if I don't say sooooo

The holidoodles carry on with this classic moment from the ill-fated adult special, "Krusty the Blowman!"

Are you gonna do a Christmas pic every week, Stretch? I love it. EDIT: If someone were to actually write "Krusty the Blowman", I bet it'd be hilarious.

Finished my short Warhammer 40k story about one of my character. Kind of grimdark at the end.

Still unpolished, might give it further editing.

EDIT: Taking it down for the time being.

Really good, May. Especially Terri's expression and the glow effect.

For those who haven't read it, the fic May's pic is based on is here. Give it a read, I enjoyed it a lot.

Welp, Back to the Donor Wall. Unfortunately I'm on hold for another week and a half. I have 15 of 20 strips at the shop. The remaining strips are still in Arizona getting etched. They're due to be shipped on Dec. 10th. Once I have them, they're off to get patina applied, and afterwords the lettering is filled. Oh, BTW, did I mention when this is due to be installed? Before the end of the year, which I'm quite sure everybody on the planet knows is essentially here. Timing is going to be beyond "close".

Of the 15 strips that are here, I applied individual letters onto 13. 8 had letters taped onto 'em, and 5 I was able to drill and screw letters into place. I'm not sure which technique was tougher.

The final results are starting to look really good. Hope the clients like it. I'm dreading the idea of any kind of re-work.

Another problem I have to deal with is there is some "politics" involved with this project. More on that later...

It looks really great, Mike. Also, I'm always a bit envious of people who can photograph objects clearly.

Can't make it tonight, since we have family over. I may get something done during the week.

This week's holidoodle recalls that classical masterpiece, "The Buttcracker."

Damn, these are hilarious! You draw a really good Rat King Nelson (that's a sentence I've rarely needed to type)...
