Moved into a place of my own!

Post by gkscotty » Thu Feb 07, 2019 8:20 pm

Well, I’m officially moved into my new flat! Sitting here enjoying rum and coke and about to play some PS4.

But there’s no internet yet. All I have is my VERY limited phone data. So I won’t be around much for a week. But I’ll try to make it into chats.

See you in a bit!

Celebrate good times, come on!

Having low internet access isn't fun, but we'll be there for when you come back. Now take it easy in your new fortress and play some games.

So how's it going folks? I'm pretty much moved in, by which I mean internet is here and I've finally moved my PC. I've actually been sleeping here for about a week.

Things are mostly fine. I'll take pictures soon. Should make it into chat this weekend but still busy with a lot of things. Beb, I am really hoping to make it to game make, I've missed it.

Right now the main problem is for stupid reasons, the internet hub needs to be installed at the opposite end of the flat from where all the devices live. That seems to be find for most things but my PC is barely getting 1 bar of wifi even though everything around it is getting 2 or 3. Annoying. I'm going to have to buy additional stuff to get this stable.

Welp! 99% of everything is great! It's just the 1% I care about that's a problem! Oh well.

There's always a nuisance, isn't there? Things can never just work.

But what matters is that you're making solid progress, and sooner than later, wi-fi issues will be fixed and everything will be fine and dandy. Having your own personal space must be kickass, and I hope you enjoy it!

Glad to hear about all the good news, wish you didn't have to deal with the Wifi crap. At least we'll have you around now.

You could always get a wifi booster. I understand they're not too expensive these days.

I got a power line converter. It’s working perfectly!
