I fell in love with the majesty of indie games

Feels like we need a new thread for recommending online/free games. Let's get this show on the road!

The Last Train to Isles. A short, simple horror story that gets real creepy.

Not necessarily new, but still good. Apologies if you've already seen it:

Caesar's Day Off. Caesar's Day Off presents an accurate depiction of life in Ancient Rome. You're Julius Caesar and you get to give thumbs up or thumbs down to decide whether various people you encounter will live... OR DIE! Not really a game, more like an interactive animation, but there are a couple of alternative endings depending on your choices.

unfortunately I don't really play any free games. Guess I'll put in a word for Universal Paperclips? Of all the "clickers that go in unexpected directions" it is easily the best, in that it tells an actual consistent and interesting story.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone’s fault. If it was Us, what did that make Me? After all, I’m one of Us. I must be. I’ve certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We’re always one of Us. It’s Them that do bad things. - Jingo, Terry Pratchett

Ooh, not that much of a fan of clickers usually, but I will probably check that one out!
