Silly cat, there's good eatin' on those.*

CAT: This cheeseburger is too crusty! FALL BACK!

Photoshop CS5. It's a Make it Better button! They finally invented a Make it Better button!

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone’s fault. If it was Us, what did that make Me? After all, I’m one of Us. I must be. I’ve certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We’re always one of Us. It’s Them that do bad things. - Jingo, Terry Pratchett

Remember that kick-awesome Japanese intro to X-Men: The Animated Series?

Now they've done it to Transformers Animated.

Not youtube per say, but general internet video. An interview with James Lovelock on global warming.

I know nothing about it, but i don't really think that treating the earth as a single organism according to his gaia theory is sensible. But a lot of the rest of what he said made sense to me, and was refreshing to hear from someone within the climate research community. I can imagine CO2 and other gases could cause warming, yes. But I don't think the computer models they trot out to explain our impending doom are worth the silicon they exist in, or that 99% of the many 'green' initiatives that people seem to think we need as a result are likely to have any meaningful effect in any instance. Shame there aren't more guys like this in the field (or if there are, that they aren't being given more prominence).

(also, the photoshop thing is indeed neat. It's been around in papers for a while now, but cool to see it actually being implemented and sold.)
