Great! I think I also found a new top-20-or-so pokemon and not even for this. Misdreavus seem like goofy little things. Most ghosts want to steal souls and while they feed on fear, they mostly do that by scaring people and are otherwise harmless. Apparently even their evolution, while it mostly hexes people, does occasionally put blessings on others too. They're chaotic little goobers.

Trying some design stuff out...

Don't mind the blank space on the top one.

Posing test. Came from some dumb thing my brain wondered off to about Terri dreaming she's somewhere not unlike the land of chocolate. Except from the candy's perspective, it's kind of a horror story. Their beloved mayor of gummi-bear village goes to greet the newcomer and she immediately bites his head off.

So, this was a kind of shot-test that snowballed into possible AU-canon.

In my head, they were in another Kamp-Krusty kind of situation and got attacked by some animal they managed to kill. Well, mostly Terri did. Because that is one of the most silly-arse ways to set up a love confession. Not 100% sure I'm going with that but it's funny enough to think about. That blood on her face really brings out her eyes!

Shape studies and scribbles: too much for me to go in-depth here, but as usual, your linework is on-model, and you have a nice mixture of characters and angles. Good outfit ideas, too.

Monstermackles: now *these* are inventive designs! All poses look great and dynamic, and the designs are plain cool (if squicky in some cases). Some of these would make for a great THoH story/subplot. I think my favourites are the mermaid one and the bat wing. Also neat details, like Blinky next to the mermaid, or how you've made snake!twin's face subtly more snake-like while still resembling her old head shape. Nothing to con-crit here.

Shadowcast: ooh, that's very nice, creepy but not too much so. The glowing eyes are a lovely touch, and her expression is realistically scared, not too exaggerated. Perfect colouring.

Giant gummi: not sure I would have realised that it was a gummi-bear without your story, but it's a great concept, and well executed. The poses are lovely (the Mayor's one brings home what a horror movie this is to him), and you've given his body some nice highlights.

Labcoat: great face, and another excellent colouring job.

Shot test: good set-up, their bodies look nice and three-dimensional, and you've done a great job on both their hair. The background does a good job showing the wilderness setting, and generally feels very show-like.

Yeah, nothing I can see that needs criticising here. These are all very good.

Bat Wing? Oh, that's more like she's... like melding her hand with some piece of metal or something so, definitely squicky! But hey, it's purposefully and hopefully in the good way. SOmetimes I just wanna be gruesome for a change. :D

That's a lot more original. I was thinking of the novel Anno Dracula, where vampires had the ability to modify their bodies, and one newbie vampire tried to grow bat wings (it ended badly for her, with her body not being able to support the change). But yeah, you do gruesome well.

That does sound interesting actually! but yeah, was thinking something akin to The Thing except more voluntary and she's still herself just... a weird gross shapeshifting body horror mutant. Which is exactly why I love the expression, of course a kid would take a weird sense of pride in something so horrible yet cool!

Love it, really good art and a funny meme. The colours and Lisa's pose are great.
