Yes, it's Lisa, but look how mean she's being! Poor, poor bart...

Don't waste your time pointing out the errors. I know. :)

Nice! More Graham-art!

OK, I won't point out errors (I didn't find many, though). Bart's pose and expression are adorable.

I like Bart's look of grim realisation, very nicely done.  I too would like to see a coloured version!
There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning....
And that, I think, was the handle - that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn't need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting - on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave....
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark - that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.

Nice piece of art there!  The style is a bit different, but who cares?  Keep drawing my man. :)

Pirates of the Carribbean has probably been spoofed to death already. Oh well. :)

Please ignore the terrible sketchiness.

Don't know the film, but I love the picture. Spiffy dramatic angle and on-model as far as I can see what with the sketchiness. You could colour maybe?

You probably know what I think already, but the angle is excellent (not something I've seen in a lot of fanart), and I like the casting. With some tidying up (and perhaps neat colouring), this could be very dramatic indeed.

Ooh, perspectiveness on the sword :) . My only source of 'Pirates...' knowledge being trailers I'm unable to comment on the casting (except zoidberg, as that particular one's hard to miss) but it does look like everything's in the right place, and I like Leela's expression (suitably "Fry, run you idiot!" :D ).

Colour might indeed be nice :)

Whilst colour would be nice, I seem to have lost the patience for it. I think, though, I'll have a go at the weekend. :)

In the meantime, a very, very bad Serenity/Firefly thing...

Where's Crichton? [j/k]

Having seen the picture this is based on, I think you've done a very good job. I like the ship in the background. Rugged!Fry is a little bit off-model (the lower part of his nose should be more button-shaped), but I think you've done a great job with Leela. I love their clothes.

As for the appropriateness of Leela's casting here, it could be argued either way.  :)

After seeing the original picture, I can safely say its a very good recreation, even in sketch form.
I hope you find the patience to develope this into a clean or colour version, it looks like a great baseline for a stunning peice of art. :)

Yes, it certainly has potential.  As Chris pointed out, "Fry" isn't bang on model but I think the design works well as a hybrid between show-model Fry and the character he's portraying.  You've certainly captured the atmosphere of the pic it's based on - it'd be great to see it coloured.

One of these days I really will colour something.

Don't ask me to explain. If I try to explain I'll break things in my head. I think it's something to do with radiation, or possible alternate universes. I'm not sure, all I know is that Fry is a little worried and leela is trying to decide whether or not to him him. Possibly.
