Our choicest plans have fallen through, our airiest castles tumbled over, because of lines we neatly drew and later neatly stumbled over.

I love it. Especially "The ned is near" and the blimp.

Beautiful art.

Stunning. I spent ages looking at all the little signs and things (the favourite has to be the suicide booth billboard), all the figures look good, the futurey buildings are very well-observed, and I love that smudgy light-drizzle colouring. Ilyich, if you're still around, brilliant stuff. 8)

That's brilliant, great depth and detail!  I like robot Barney, and is that Lisa as the Statue of Liberty? (or am I a Lisa fan who's seeing things :))
(Ilyich's owl avatar is rather cool too...)
There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning....
And that, I think, was the handle - that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn't need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting - on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave....
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark - that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.

If Futurama were made by Miyazaki:

That's amazing

I found this awesomeness on Tmbler: The Simpsons do Army of Darkness. I don't know what kills me more, Deadite!Bumblebee man or the teeny Homers with their pitchforks. Made by iinthetriangle.tumblr.com.

Yeah, I saw that on DeviantArt. It's so weird seeing good Simpsons fanart there.

The crossover of futurama and the simpsons on that deviant art link is pretty amazing. I really like how it is quite dark too, very nice.

Remember The Venture Brothers? They're back, in animé form!

EDIT: OK, this didn't seem to post properly, so I managed to make it a triple post. Gah.

This one may require some explanation...

It's a picture of all the Disney Princesses having a tea party, but they're all the same age as their movies.

It's wonderful.

That's absolutely one of my favorite bits of Disney fanart :) Nice spotting, Chris!

Not Groening-related, but for those who like the webcomic Order of the Stick, have some impressive fanart:
