Nice to have you back! Remember, you're always welcome here for a chat or some art. (And Graham still has your centaur painting on his wall.)

Your art looks even better than before, and your colouring is always lovely. That Raven picture is as good as anything I've seen of you (love the look of her guitar), and the characters in the second picture are really well drawn and coloured. My only nitpick is that Rayla's torso looks kind of long and weirdly shaped (note that I haven't seen The Dragon Prince, so I don't know whether the elves are supposed to look like that).

Very good stuff as usual.

Graham does? Wow, I'm impressed! Guess that did go to a good home. Whenever somebody gets one of my drawing, I'm always worried they'll just stuff it a drawer and forget about it.

There is more to the Rayla/Callum drawing.

Another fun one was recommended by a buddy of mine on DA.

Originally I was given the title "La Leyenda de la Nahuala", and I fumbled onto "Las Leyendas". Now I don't speak Spanish, so I needed to find an English version. It was on Netflix called "Legend Quest".

I love all of these. The Dragon Prince pictures: that's an awful lot of drawing, and it looks great. The faces are rather cute-looking, but not in a bad way.

The Las Leyendas pictures: these character designs are great, and your art is professional as always. I'm particularly fond of the mysterious woman's sugar skull-style facial markings, for some reason.

So all in all, really great work!

Cool! Glad to hear that.

Another show I really like is a French cartoon "Wakfu". I did a ton of drawings from that show.

Evangelyne (er, she's the blonde with horse ears) changes her mind and decides they will go back and help a village. Yugo comes over and thanks her.

That's really good! The first one has amazing colouring, and the second and third one has your usual good character-drawing and expressions. Some very nice detail and shading on the third picture, too.

Now some strange stuff. Have I ever told you that I'm awful at anthro? Sure I have, yes, yes, quite sure...

A centaur is a half horse, right? Try half dinosaur, in particular half T-Rex.

Those look great! I don't think the tyrannosaurus looks awful (though I'm not sure the tail would be able to do that). In fact, that's my favourite part of these artworks, especially the way you've made her scales so glossy. Lots of good stuff all around.

S'more Rayla. The more I watch her, the more I like her. Unfortunately, she does seem to take the brunt of more than her fair share of gags...

Sketches first, then the final drawing.

Rayla is out in the woods, and hears calls for help. she comes blasting into their clearing looking for a fight.

Rayla doesn't think that's a very good idea.

Little Ezran walks over and delivers the punch line of the year. "You're making a sizzling sound..."

All very fine drawings, very nice figure-drawing and expressions, and just generally funny. Rayla's leg position in the coloured picture looks a bit weird and painful, but that's my only nitpick. Ezran and his critter look great.

Ah, Ezran and his little whatever-it-is, (His name is Bait BTW. There is a serious gag about that but I'll save it for later...) I had a scanner glitch with Bait. I colored him kind of a yellow ochre, but my scanner saw it as more of an orange. Fickle thing.

I did mirror the final color drawing compared to the sketch. Want to guess why?

Let me leave this. I drew a car!

This is one of those cars that will kill you just as soon as look at you. Usually in a very spectacular orgy of self-inflicted carnage.

Haven't a clue (though I do think the version you coloured is an improvement).

Don't know anything about cars, but that Ferrari is a beauty. Sleek lines, very nice shiny-looking colouring.

I've neglected to post anything here, but I've been checking out the art and I'm consistently impressed. I really can't provide any proper comments and specific opinions, but I do enjoy the stuff!

When you tell a joke it's set-up first, then punchline. People have a tendency to see things from left to right. If Ezran is the set-up ("You're making a sizzling sound") and Rayla with the electric hair is the punchline, they need to be seen in that order. Not vice versa. I decided to flip the drawing midway through coloring, so finished it but signed my name backwards so that when I did mirror it everything worked.

Thanks! Those reflections were scary at first. I took a deep breath and just dove in. Once I got going they were surprisingly easy, but very tedious. I used a grand total of seven colors on the body, four reds and three greys.
