Thanks! I told a friend at work that the same dress would look good in a cranberry red.

I sent this sketch to Kaspired a couple of weeks ago...it may end up being a poster project.

I don't know whether I'm going to do anything with this, but I sent this over to Kaspired. I'm kicking around doing a Futurama/American Dad mash-up picture.

Here's another doodle I slipped over to Mike the other day; first time in years I'd used colored pencils...forgot how messy they were. I like drawing these guys in local colors; in this case she's a San Francisco Giants baseball fan with Stanford colors. I had another one of these planned for Washington D.C. that I still may do sometime. Playtime is fun time.

At the risk of being a total Abe Simpson, I need to give a shout out to my daughter. She is at a small convention downtown called PopCon, and has been hanging out today with Sylvester Mccoy. I'll be hanging out there this weekend, and one of the panelists is going to be John DiMaggio. I've got my fingers and toes crossed about meeting him, but I don't know if I'll get that lucky. In the picture, BTW, is the life-size TARDIS that Holly and her clubmates built at college.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and there's no sense blathering about this one. I just consider myself very lucky. I thought I was going to have to fly to California for the opportunity. If you'd have told me two months ago that I would be meeting John DiMaggio, I would have told you that you were nuts. But, here we are...my wife Nancy and I with Bender. All of this because of my daughter's involvement with a Dr. Who club. I feel lucky to get this done because of my busy work schedule; I didn't think I was going to pull it off. And he's very nice, and loves the fan following of the show. He signed my artwork for the "No Country for Old Robots" picture. Officially, I can die happy now.

Today I got to meet Billy West. I had no idea that he was coming to our local Comic Con until my friend Robert called me on Friday and told me. You've got to realize that is isn't exactly the center of the Milky Way Galaxy around here. After a shift at work, I got to go downtown and meet him. He is a super nice guy that really likes the fans. He loves talking with people, and he likes doing the different voices for the fans. While signing a Zoidberg picture, he proclaimed in voice, "Finally - Zoidberg is the popular one!" He told us that he found Zoidberg so funny because he was a doctor who was always broke. I think that if you ever get to meet this guy, you won't be disappointed.

This was something I did recently as a cover; I put together these little "books" for my games with plastic folders I get from my local office store. I was doing these things over 20 years ago when I first started playing GURPS. Of late I've been putting these things together for my own Futurama GURPS game, complete with gaming sheets for the familiar characters (and some new ones too).

Very nice, and looks pretty on-model.

Never got into GURPS, but I bet that would be fun to play...

Thanks! The real fun I get is being able to game them on worlds created by Asimov and Heinlein.

One of the most fun characters that I made a GURPS sheet for was Marge Simpson; in the show she had done so much, like having been a policewoman, that she had a big list of skills.

Speaking of Marge in a game, here is what she might look like as a "space ranger." I wanted to stay with the familiar colors I always use on her, like Prismacolor Poppy Red and Avocado, while adding some Leaf Green as a trim.

I forgot to share this. I did a series of cartoon characters based on fashion shots...this was based on a picture of Japanese actress Yuki Uchida. I just thought it was such an unusual pose and facial expression for Marge, almost as if she were in a similar photo shoot. I was happy with the way it turned out.

I posted this over at dA the other day; the idea hit me at 5:30 in the morning as I was opening up for work. I wasn't sure whether The Simpsons had ever played with a Beetlejuice gag; in all these years they might have. But, at any rate, here it is - Homer asking him if he was "scary enough."

Actually, the original concept was for a "Beetle Marge" - the Simpsons were trying to rid their home of the Griffin family http://gulliver63.tumblr.com/image/116392286385
