So they're doing two episode arcs now?

As neat as the whole idea kinda sounds, I've seen stuff that suggests that 'male shop owner' is Julio. You know, the painfully stereotypical flamboyant gay guy? I do hope it turns out to be someone else though.

Also it's kinda depressing that the photos of VAs+who they voice missed off Russi Taylor entirely... and actually listed Crazy Cat Lady first for those voiced by Tress.

They experimented with arcs last season, where the Elon Musk episode had aftereffects in subsequent episodes.

Sounds to me like they're running out of ideas. "Anything we haven't done yet?" "Uhh... Smithers hasn't come out." Still, has the potential for a good story.

It does at least sound like a simpler plot idea which, really, is for the better. A lot of modern episodes (particularly those like Bull-E) have a problem with being too complicated so what should have been the main focus (between Homer and how he's basically bullied Flanders) was rather short as a result.

So yeah, hoping it's simple-ish at least.

IMOHO, he should've come out when it would've been impactful. They could've explored a decades worth of queer living through him and instead they chose to keep making closet-related jokes.
