All Grown Up pics by TS
Another good-looking Nicktoons character.
For some reason I always pick the ones who are bitchy, self-centered, cold-hearted, snobbish, bossy... and beautiful. See Trixie Tang, Jessica Lovejoy, Courtney Gripling (from As Told by Ginger).
I guess the slight evilness serves as a compensation for the sometimes overly cute character design?
Anyway, here's a first sketch of blonde teen Angelica. It's linked, cause she looks a bit... let's call it "lewd".

Re: Angelica (All Grown Up)
I never saw those series (heh, I'm dumb), but for some reason your Angelica reminded me of the character with the same name from the "Rugrats" cartoon, which I liked a lot in the past. Nice sketch! And yes, she looks evil somehow... I'd like to see colored version.
Re: Angelica (All Grown Up)
It might be my addiction to toons, but this one looks cute, too. Just in a different, more "in your face" way. And with all the stuff about being an anime addict, i like this character design too.
Do i have to compliment your pencil shading skills again? Yes i do Tommy, you are the OB of pencil sketching!
If i might add something, i would suggest you to try and make a whole figure picture. I know that drawing feet is an hallse you can do without, but it might make the picture look better as a whole. For example, in this particular pic, there are some problems with the hip/legs part. More specifically, the legs look like a "continuation" of her hips, instead of different body parts.
Uhm, ok, i'll go to bed

Re: Angelica (All Grown Up)
It's actually the same Angelica. Rugrats has a spin-off now that features all the babies and toddlers as tweens or teenagers.Dagdamor wrote: I never saw those series (heh, I'm dumb), but for some reason your Angelica reminded me of the character with the same name from the "Rugrats" cartoon, which I liked a lot in the past.
"I was God once."
"Yes, I saw. You were doing well until everyone died."
Bender and God, "Godfellas"

Heh, I knew I already saw this cute little spikey nose somewhere before...
Again, the sketch is well done.

The worlds first ever Rugrats artist! I never seen one before!
I've seen the show lots of times in my youth, and that looks pretty much bang on.
I really like the shading too, how the shading tone is lighter or heavier on different textures. Awsome!

Re: Angelica (All Grown Up)
Angelica is my least favorite in this show, because she mean, rude, and try to make up stuff to scare babies. But for this pic, it look great, I really like her dress, & nice drawing a heart shape on her hair.

Re: Angelica (All Grown Up)
She's one of those characters that you love to hate...
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
@DJ: well, at least Angelica doesn't torture babies anymore in "All grown up". She seems to have mellowed out a bit, which is a good thing. As much as I love slightly evil cartoon girls, Vicky (from Fairly Odd Parents) style evilness is just a tad too much, even for me.
@Casper: It's hardly the first Rugrats fanpic... there's a lot of fanmade stuff out there, covering both the original show and the spin-off. I've seen Rugrats babies pics that I wish I never saw... But let's not go there.

Re: Angelica (All Grown Up)
God damn son's of midgits have gone TOO far. I swear if I had a computer virus to sent, first stop, the sick bar-stools who make that crap. I've drawn blood and guts violence, but animation spoof 'nasties'... I could kill them all.I've seen Rugrats babies pics that I wish I never saw...
... Opps. I strayed away from subject then. Do you know any fan sites of Rugrat artists?

Great artwork by a guy named Jonathan Sario: in fact, much better than the official art...
If only this guy could do some Simpsons pics...!

I'd have to agree... Everyone! Click that link!Great artwork by a guy named Jonathan Sario: in fact, much better than the official art...
I think more people should experiment with different things to draw. I know you do that a lot, and I have my humble Worm drawings... But Rugrats is somthing I havent tryed. I'll give it a go some day.
