Et tu, Monopoly?

You know when I was a kid, all *we* had was Park Place and Boardwalk! And you didn't hear us complainin'!
In other news, proper nouns will be acceptable in Scrabble, the game of Life will have a suicide option (as will Operation, though, it's more of a living will), and Trivial Pursuit will eliminate the pies in favor of the more healthful rice cakes. Gaaaaaahhhhhh......>:-(

Yeah, but Classic Monopoly has always remained unchanged, in case we wanted a break from Simpsons, Peanuts, or (God help us) NASCAR Monopoly. Ah, well. This means that the old ones will become collector's items! eBay, here I come!Commisar Geranovich wrote: Seriously, why is this news? They've had umpteen new versions in the last decade. Oh well...

Well, maybe there's still hope. But, the original version will still be available for sentimental fans of the game.
And there's always the possibility that it will turn out like that "New Coke" fiasco. Who knows?

"You have placed second in American Idol. Sign numerous music deals, become more famous than whoever came first and collect $1,000,000."Property values will rise, money will be in higher denominations and "Community Chest" and "Chance" cards will reflect more modern scenarios.

Sometimes I feel like dressing up my Gaia avatar.
Feels kinda pointless since I don't actually do stuff at Gaia, so I'm putting it here.
