Celsius.
That's what Maggie is suffering from right now.... aside an attack of sisterly envy. This pic came to my mind a day where i was pretty much in her conditions. such a tiny fan couldn't do much against the heat wave. :)
Anyway sorry for my crappy handwriting: that's supposed to be Lisas... but it will be all fixed in the coloring. (i plan to make this a 1024*768 wallpaper if all goes well)

Oh, and even if i'm aware that the body proportions here are pretty much completely different from the show or even the other fanart of Maggie i did, con-crit (or asking for explanations) is welcome. Enjoy!  :maggie:

Ah, heat and envy: Together, a vile combination. Heat of the weather, and heat of the soul. Sorry for the philosophical break! :D Well,I think it is discomforting that Maggie still has her pacifier. I love your attention to detail, ie: creases in the shirt. I can never do that I think I will look for tutorials in the Creative pencil.
Find Me, A poem by Chris Dominowski.

If I am lost, and you do not care, will the search ever be fair?
Why am I here? What should I do?
The answer to this, I once knew.
Why should I be found if I always must hide?
I have tried so hard, my soul has died.
Over the years, In fear I have drowned. It is finally clear; I cannot be found.

Human, a poem by Chris dominowski

I wear sunglasses at night, but I carry a flashlight.
I turn from the flame, but stare at the ashes.
I walk into the woods, and never touch the trail.
I always look at my calander, but do not care what day it is.
I am the mixture of light and darkness; I am human.

Took me a while to understand everything, but now I do its very good.

Do I dare say she looks thinner than usual? Although, in heat like that weight loss is the least of her worries :)
I love the hair, and the tear's and creases in the clothes. And attention to detail I.e Her pacyfier actualy looks like she has been chewing on it.
Looking forward to a color version. Good luck with that!

Nice work :)

Wow, I am inspired to draw again...
(So far I've just started small and done a few simpsony sketchs, now this just makes me want to finish them!)

This is amazing, as usual, the detail is great! and the picture is very interesting to look at, it also took me a while to get it at first....
Can't wait for the coloured version Marco! :D

Same here. I am really, REALLY inspired! But, I don't know what to draw. Maybe another musical pic... But, I'm sure I will come up with others. Hey, I didn't notice that Maggie was thinner! Oh, and she looks like she was interrupted while she saw the postcard. Maybe she got it in the middle of that book she was reading...

brilliant pic marco
i look forward to the coloured version of this one!
like already has been mentioned i love the attention to detail

the only thing that bothers me is her right foot, it looks a bit too big, and the big toe is on the wrong side, actually it looks like both feet are the wrong way around
...or is it just me?
Space. It seems to go on and on forever.
But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.

Thanks Skajme, and you're right: The feet are wrong; at least they don't have three toes... or do they? :P And the sizes must be reworked (if you see her foot is kind of blurred because i rushed it to finish before 2 AM). These will be fixed in the colored version :)
Thanks for noticing though!

Ah, poor Maggie. All those fans do is blow the hot air back at you -- heat-ranting aside, I love this pic, especially Maggie's perfect expression and that pacifier chewed to a nub (what's that thing with eyes on the floor?). Maggie's proportions don't look odd at all (and neither is the handwriting crappy).
One nitpick: the way Maggie's body is leaning. From this perspective it's hard to figure out how her top half joins up with the half below her shirt. Could just be something I'll understand completely when it's coloured (not that I'm prodding you to start colouring or anything....) Anyway, it'll make a great wallpaper for stupid-temperature days. If you really want to add to the torment, put some mosquitos in.  ;)

I'm having one of those days; it is SO humid! You know when you see a mirage a puddle on the road on a hot day? It's so humid, when I walked up to it, it really WAS a puddle, and it hadn't rained in days!
