Yet Another New Forum Theme!
Yet Another New Forum Theme!
I've installed a new forum theme which, I think, looks a lot nicer than the last one. Though the last one was nice as well. Anyway, I've now set the forum to allow people to pick from a small selection of themes too, so you won't necessarily be bored anymore. I would have liked to build a theme replicating the 'classic' simpworks forum but last time I tried messing with the themes in any substantial way I sort of broke it.
I like this theme. I'm going to see if I can stretch it over the rest of the site and see how it looks.

Yeah...looks good! It's quite a bright and clean look, seems to fit in with that top banner pretty well too.
There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning....
And that, I think, was the handle - that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn't need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting - on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave....
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark - that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.

I'm actually not very fond of the vast field of Very Similar Blue, so I'm glad you added in the alternate themes option.
Though I'm still not entirely sure why things had to change in the first place...

This is very nice
My only real complaint is the 'New Post'/'No New Posts' icon on the left of each board name. Its a bit vague, hard to tell them appart. But other than that its a great scheme, suits the rest of the site nicely.

Yeah, I like this. It always takes me a while to get used to changes of layout, but aqua blue just seems more dynamic and, well, suitable for a Simpsons-Futurama fansite than the previous grey one.
The "new post" icon could be a bit clearer perhaps, but I don't have a problem with it.
And for those who really can't stand this colour scheme: go to "Look and Layout Preferences" in the Profile section and you can set a different one for yourselves.

Blue is my favorite color, so I like the new theme. I don't know if it's only my PC, but the background color of the GFWC logo is #A4C3FF, so the background color of the header is slightly off (#ACC9FF). The custom member rank icons seem to be missing as well, I see only the default stars. But otherwise, very nice.

I love this new theme, if only because I finally have a link back to the main site through the forums.

I really like this new look, just wanted to tell you Mista Graham.

I just thank heaven you didn't call him "Mista G." That would have produced mental images that would no doubt create a severe wave of brain hemorrhages.aoifestorm wrote: I really like this new look, just wanted to tell you Mista Graham.

On top of which, right now I can't afford all the bling I'd need to justify such a name.
