Ok, I've been checking around.  writers are already writing their story or warming up to create theirs,  But the artist side seems kinda dead.  I know the rules are somewhat picky and maybe exaggerated. 

If you think I should change anything or leave it as it is please say so.  I'm moving the artist competition deadline  15 days; so now, the deadline is going to be on July 15.

I think that because this is an art competition, artists will no doubt be trying to put the best effort they can into their images. One has to realise that this takes a lot of time an effort, so the fact that nothing has appeared yet is hardly surprising, IMO. Many will probably wait until the last moment, just to be sure their work is at its best.

My main excuse is I've been having too much fun without drawing. Its summer, FINALY! Skateboarding doesnt have to wait until the rain is over, there is no rain.

I'll get somthing down... once an idea and a late night sleep deprived day comes along...

Erm, I was working on an entry (and still am: sporadically between tests), but I started growing uncomfortable with the idea of actually placing (*cough*pipedream*cough*) and then having to reveal my address for prize purposes.  I do want to enter, and I don't really care if I win anything, but I'd feel kind of stupid/bad if I placed and then declined the prize, especially if you're spending your own money on it. 

And for the record, I have no problem with the rules as they now stand.

I would love to enter if I manage to get some time free after my exams ( after exams I got parties, then I go away for the summer holiday, and it goes on....)
Although I would also have the same problem as Officer 1BDI and my parents proberbly won't allow me to claim it either... also I don't have any ideas yet as my mind is kinda stressed out from revision o_0
but I will try and get something done if I get time

mmm…  the time happens so fast and although in this side of the globe already almost it is Winter to find a subject for a drawing is very difficult…  :-\I believe that it was a good idea to add 5 days more for the artistic competition…

I will post a voting thread for both competitions just to give a slight idea of your position to the judges.   Judging will take sometime, but hopefully we will have a winner before the end of the month.   ;)

A week is all I ask. After all, it's not much of a contest, if there are only 2 contestants, is it? It's more of a wrestling or boxing (or tennis - it doesn't necessary have to do anything with violence. Or does it?).
