Since I recently became a fan of "The Lego Movie", here's a cool collection of scribbles by Humon (the artist behind Scandinavia and the World).

My favourite part is that Wyldstyle in the bottom left corner reminds me a bit of Triana from Venture Brothers, which means that now I'm also seeing Emmett as Dean.

Star Wars fans seem to have the most free time in the world. (Is it because there's only been seven films since 1977, and only four of them have actually been good?)

Darth Vader: Ruler of the Sea by Ben Jackson. (Don't think this is canon, but it's amazing.)

Stormtroopers fighting a bunch of... oh crap by Guillem H. Pongiluppi.

Also, not art as such, but this fan-animated short film/TIE Fighter pilot recruitment ad is beyond awesome and should be watched by everyone.

EDIT: The artist who made the TIE Fighter animation also made a poster for it, hot damn.

You guys know how distant I am from Star Wars, but that drawing with the Stormtroopers blew me away. Excellent use of lighting, and a way to keep the terror in the shadows.

I mentioned to Graham when I showed him this picture that the first Terminator film really has the plot of a typical shoujo romance/action manga. We have the ordinary girl protagonist who's more important than she thinks, and the badass love interest who is there to protect her, yet also needs her help to function in modern society. All that's missing is a love triangle with the Terminator, and this story could run for 200 issues.

EDIT: I also found the fanart when googling for a picture of a cute Cenobite, but that is another story for another time.
