The Simpsons and Futurama fan art as well as completely original works of art are welcome here. freebies!

Post by kaspired » Thu Nov 12, 2009 7:11 am

Two freebies are available.  Archonix was willing to give one unused drawing a second chance at life.  So here are a couple more.  If you want to use either of these, let me know and I'll send you a full size file.  Do what you will to these poor things.

Hope you can get some use out of 'em.

Mike

Another sketch I hadn't planned on using.  If you want to do a version of this, go ahead.

So do you think Zap bribed the Hypnotoad?  Or maybe Fry got desperate?  ;D

I'm thinking the Professor is experimenting with just how powerful the Hypnotoad really is.

Honestly, my favorite part is the Hypnotoad's rather baffled expression.
I memorized "Holy Grail" really well
I can recite it right now and have you ROTFLOL
- "Weird Al" Yankovic, "White and Nerdy"

I draw too, dammit!

This isn't a freebie, sorry.  But it is another work in progress.  Actually this is a collaboration with another DA-ist.  The theme is Mom and Tinny Tim.  Tinny says something to the effect "I don't feel very good"  Mom replys "Do you?  Have some more.  Mom (tm) wants to know".  The can has a label saying "Moms Robot oil - untested new product"

Enjoy!

That's the creepiest Momcorp ad I've ever seen. Good for you. ;D I'm particularly impressed by the way you've coloured Mom's hair -- it works very well on that yellow paper. Her left hand looks like it has five fingers, but I reckon that could be fixed by going back over those lines that make up the last two. Good luck with more colouring!

Thanks.  But I can't take credit for the idea and layout.  This is a collaboration, I just took her pencil sketch and went for it.  I'm real curious what she's done with mine.  The suspense is killing me.

I've cleaned up the final drawing, and the details are clearer.  Hopefully that'll take care of the finger problem.

I'm waiting to hear back from her.  But I'm a little impatient and might post the final before she answers.

Here goes.  I haven't had a chance to talk to MissusPatches about this one but here it is anyway.  Oh I hope she doesn't get upset with me for jumping the gun...

This is a collaberation, we traded sketches and finished each others drawing.  This is my take on her sketch, although hers was too good to change (much).

Cool! More awesome drawings. I really like the one with Mom and Tiny Tim. I think Tim's legs look a little shorter. Is he supposed to be a bit younger in the picture?

Wow, thanks glad you like it.  There is more of this on myDA site.

Who knows, maybe the "new untested" Moms oil actually does something.

Here are s'more drawings I'm not going to use.  If anybody wants a try at them, let me know and I'll email a full sized file to you.

Originally the thought was a "Babe a Day" for a month.  But my computer is not reliable and there are some real world events that are going to keep me away from the drawing board.

Real world sucks. That's all I can say about that.

I do enjoy your babes. :D Most of all though I can't get enough of your style. It's so unique and alive.
